Maybe you don’t. Maybe you do. But a lot of times people’s actions betray what they won’t admit even to themselves.

Do you willingly pay tithes to it?
Would you kill for it?
Would you send your children to die for it?

You just might be a worshiper by your actions even if your mind tells you otherwise.

And those who do not honor the flag honor whose flag pray tell?

And if you were honest you substittute honor for worship, but that would make your true motives a bit too obvious wouldn’t it?

My country, right or wrong, is a flawed idea. Sometimes the people have to stand up and say ” No, that is not right”. The 2nd Amendment was put in place in order to resist a government run amok. Of course the federal govenment managed to absorb the state militas and removed that ability to speak up.
